Just noticed that the TU is hosting a Teabagger blog. I'm very tempted to go into the comments sections and start throwing rhetorical haymakers. But no good can come of that, just wasted time.
If you've ever heard or read a teabagger, you've probably realized that their politics and their understanding of history are muddled, at best. Surely the TU editors have come to that same conclusion. Which leads me to believe that hosting that blog is a pretty cynical bid for blog traffic on the TU's part.

The Times Union announces an exciting new method for it to obtain content for publication without paying the writers of that content.
Venture promises a different spin on news
This is in addition to the 23,550 blogs that the TU publishes by non-staff writers, who also are not paid.

And an eighth Dem announces for the 21st: Craig Burridge. Per Capital News 9, he "is the CEO and 15-year executive director of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York."
Cap News 9 in their piece says that there are seven Dems, but there are eight.
More info here.

There are now seven candidates for the Dem nomination in the 21st CD.
TU: "John Aretakis, the North Greenbush attorney known for his many lawsuits against the Catholic Church, says he’ll announce his run as a Democrat for the 21st Congressional seat next week."
And also from the TU: "Arthur Welser, a realtor living in Latham."
Just did a Google search for Aretakis and Congress to see if he had a web site up yet. Didn't find one, but did see some interesting campaign contributions by Aretakis. Maybe I will do a post on all the candidates' past donations.

Savage is out of the race in the 21st.
Too many "maybe" candidates to recount. Supposedly people will start announcing after the primary (today).
