And an eighth Dem announces for the 21st: Craig Burridge. Per Capital News 9, he "is the CEO and 15-year executive director of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York."

Cap News 9 in their piece says that there are seven Dems, but there are eight.

More info here.

Monday, March 31, 2008

There are now seven candidates for the Dem nomination in the 21st CD.

TU: "John Aretakis, the North Greenbush attorney known for his many lawsuits against the Catholic Church, says he’ll announce his run as a Democrat for the 21st Congressional seat next week."

And also from the TU: "Arthur Welser, a realtor living in Latham."

Just did a Google search for Aretakis and Congress to see if he had a web site up yet. Didn't find one, but did see some interesting campaign contributions by Aretakis. Maybe I will do a post on all the candidates' past donations.
