Let's rephrase! (Compare to the original ... )

    Paul Howard, Manhattan Institute

Allow younger people to buy low-price insurance plans, and through the MAGIC OF THE MARKET, somehow this will not result in higher premiums for the older, sicker people who are left in the older, sicker people risk pool.

Paul Macielak, NY Health Plan Association

My organization is not a big fan of rules and stuff. Or taxes.

Jeanette Jones, Chamber Alliance of New York State AND Jack Smith, Independent Insurance Agents AND Dan Colacino, NYS Association of Health Underwriters

The buggy whip manufacturers I represent would like to continue manufacturing buggy whips.

James R. Knickman, NYS Health Foundation AND Elisabeth Benjamin, Community Service Society of NY AND Mark Scherzer, New Yorkers for Accessible Health Coverage

Hey, here's a crazy idea ... let's think about the patients and consumers? Stop throwing stuff at us, Manhattan Institute.

    Jim Tallon, United Hospital Fund

I'm not clear on the concept of what is a public institution.

Ken Pokalsky, The Business Council of NYS

Do not merge the small groups market with the individual market because, well, we stand to make less money that way. Frankly.
